VA Loans are Fixed-rate loans guarantee by the US Dept of Veterans Affair for qualified veterans. VA Loans does not required down payment, but a VA Funding Fee is required unless the veteran is exempt. Exemptions for the VA Funding fee are usually provided to veterans with service related disabilities of 10% or more.

VA Loans are generally 10-50 basis points lower than traditional home mortgages.  Ultimately the rate depends on several factors such as credit score and history.
